Quickplay event.
A very enjoyable and exasperating evening quickplay tournament was held on Friday, using the dreaded ten-second buzzer.  Thanks as usual to Martin for organising this fun event.
Main Rules
    i  Players may only move when the buzzer sounds
   ii  There is no need to say check 
  iii   If the King is en prise, it can be taken to end the game
  iv  Stalemate rules apply
