Meri Grigoryan - Simultaneous chess event at Poole Chess Club
Meri Grigoryan, who has a rapidplay chess rating of 200, has agreed to play against 30 boards at Poole Chess Club during the evening of Thursday, 24 May. Would any members be interested in taking part? Poole Club has taken up about a third of the boards, and have plenty left. Charges £5 per player. Anyone wishing to take part should contact Poole Chess Club.

We're always looking for new members. Southbourne Chess Club is a friendly chess club in the Tuckton area of Bournemouth, Dorset. Our membership is currently around twenty-five, and we're always looking to get more people involved. We have members not only from the Dorset Chess scene, but also some from neighbouring Hampshire.

Rule 8 has been amended to reflect the discussions at last year's AGMs where it was agreed that the penalty for teams that exceed their average nominated grade will only be 2 times the difference between the actual average grade and average nominated grade not 4 times as previously indicated.
